Microsoft has confirmed the second wave of titles heading to Xbox Game Pass this month following a controversial price increase – check out the games below:
Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service that gives players access to a huge library of games for a monthly fee. Last month, Microsoft confirmed it was changing Game Pass to offer players “more flexibility, choice and value” but fans weren’t impressed.
The cheapest Essential tier of Xbox Game Pass gives you access to a library of 50 games for £9.99 a month. The new Premium tier is £14.99 and includes a library of 200+ games and access to all new Xbox published games within a year of them launching, with the expectation of Call Of Duty. Ultimate is now £29.99 a month and is the only tier of Xbox Game Pass that will let you play Day One releases.
Following the announcement, Microsoft added more than 90 new titles to the service while 13 other games were added earlier this month. Now Microsoft has confirmed what the rest of October has in store for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

Microsoft has also confirmed a trio of titles will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on October 31 – Jusant, Metal Slug Tactics and Return to Monkey Island.
As part of the reworked Game Pass offering, 75 Day One titles will be available over the next 12 months. Recently, Microsoft’s Director of Gaming and Platform Communications Dustin Blackwell defended the Xbox Game Pass price hike. “We understand price increases are never fun for anybody, but we’re trying to reinforce by adding more value to these plans as well,” he explained. “It’s something we don’t take lightly, and we’re listening to the feedback of players and the community to try to provide them with more of what they’re asking for.”
In other news, following the release of the handheld Xbox ROG Ally, fans are worried the successor to the Xbox Series X/S will be “fucking expensive”. Xbox boss Sarah Bond recently promised the console will offer a “premium, high end” experience.
