X and Los Lobos cancel “99 Years of Rock’n’Roll” Tour just days before it was to start

Well this is a bummer. Los Angeles legends, longtime friends and former Slash Records labelmates X and Los Lobos were set to start the “99 Years of Rock’n’Roll” Tour on Friday in Toronto but they’ve announced today that the tour has been canceled. They write:

Due to circumstances beyond our control X & Los Lobos will be unable to embark on the 99 Years of Rock’n’Roll Tour. Both bands and our crews worked hard and were looking forward to this tour. We love & value our fans and are extremely disappointed at this turn of events. Look to point of purchase for refunds. We hope to see you in the near future.

X and Los Lobos will be playing two shows together this fall: Reno, NV on November 7 at  Silver Legacy Casino, and Riverside, CA on November 14 at Fox Performing Arts Center.

Those are currently the only dates for X, but Los Lobos have a robust upcoming schedule and all dates are listed below.
