Wu-Tang Clan brought out Slick Rick, Lil’ Kim, Redman & more for MSG show w/ Run the Jewels (pics, video)

Wu-Tang Clan are nearing the end of what they’re calling their final tour, and on Wednesday night (7/16) they headlined Madison Square Garden for their third-to-last show of the run. It was a guest-filled affair: Havoc of Mobb Deep came out to perform “Shook Ones, Pt. II;” Redman surprised Method Man, flying in from Europe to join him on their song “Da Rockwilder;’” Big Daddy Kane did a couple verses on “Ain’t No Half-Steppin” and “Warm It Up Kane;” Slick Rick did “Children’s Story;” Lil’ Cease helped Wu-Tang pay tribute to Biggie Smalls with a rendition of “The What;” Lil’ Kim came out for her verse on Mobb Deep’s “Quiet Storm (Remix);” SWV did the “Anything” remix; and The Lox also made an appearance. There was also a tribute to Biz Markie, who passed away on the same day as the show, July 16, in 2021.
