Victoryland, the project of former Blood guitarist Julian McCamman, released their first album for Good English, My Heart Is A Room With No Cameras In It, back in January. Its percussive indie rock recalls The Dodos a little, and there are also touches of Bright Eyes and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. Stream the album below.
Having played a sold out Night Club 101 show earlier this month, they’ve announced a Brooklyn show which they say is their “Last headlining show in NYC for a big ol’ fat ol’ minute.” It’s on March 7 at Baby’s All Right with or best offer and sister, and tickets are on sale now.
Victoryland will also head to Austin in March for SXSW. Those are their only upcoming dates at the moment; stay tuned.
