‘Very little suspense as to what will happen next’ as French PM set to lose confidence vote

Eleonore Caroit, MP for French citizens living in Latin America and the Caribbean and a member of Emmanuel Macron’s Renaissance party, tells France 24’s Clovis Casali that there is little doubt French Prime Minister François Bayrou will lose Monday’s no-confidence vote in parliament. But, she says, calling the vote was “absolutely necessary” as he seeks to reduce France’s debt.
