Venezuela’s Maduro vows to resist US ‘aggression’, calls Rubio ‘lord of death’

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on Monday said Caracas would defend itself from US “aggression” as he lashed out at US Secretary of State Marco Rubio over his tough rhetoric on drug cartels and warned that communications with Washington had “broken down”. Shortly after his speech, President Donald Trump said the US military had again targeted a boat allegedly carrying drugs from Venezuela, killing three aboard the vessel.
