Venezuela amnesty bill delayed amid protests

Lawmakers in Venezuela have postponed the final debate on a proposed amnesty law that would free political prisoners, after failing to agree on key details of its application. Thousands of demonstrators marched in Caracas calling for the immediate release of remaining detainees, even as some have already been freed and interim president Delcy Rodriguez faces pressure to deliver on her promise of clemency.
