USMNT vs. Saudi Arabia: Projected lineups for the second match of Group D in the Gold Cup

After a dominant 5-0 victory over Trinidad and Tobago, the U.S. Men’s National Team returns to action on Thursday night against Saudi Arabia. Both teams lead Group D with three points each, and this matchup could be decisive in determining who finishes on top.

The first round of the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup has wrapped up, and now the U.S. Men’s National Team is gearing up for its second challenge: Saudi Arabia. The match is set to take place on Thursday, June 19 at 9:15 PM ET.

Coached by Mauricio Pochettino, the U.S. comes into the second matchday riding high after a dominant 5-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago. With three points, they currently sit atop Group D alongside Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi team, meanwhile, arrives following a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Haiti. With both teams level on points, this upcoming clash could decide who finishes first in the group.
