US to stop collecting emissions data from country’s biggest polluters

The Trump adminstration moved Friday to scrap a federal programme that tracks greenhouse gas emissions from major polluters in a rollback that, experts warn, would blind Americans to the risk of pollution and undermine efforts to fight climate change.
