Ukraine war: Brazil ‘seems to want to project an image of not taking sides’

While Europe and the US have largely backed Kyiv with sanctions and weapons, countries in the Global South have tried to tow a more neutral line, none more so than Brazil. The country’s president Lula has condemned the invasion in principle, but he also refused to take sides. Our correspondent in Brazil, Jan Onoszko, tells us more.
