Turkish court throws out case seeking to oust main opposition party leader Ozel

An Ankara court on Friday rejected a bid to oust Turkey’s main opposition leader, Ozgur Ozel, and annul his party’s 2023 congress. The courtroom broke into applause as the judge read out the ruling, saying accusations of vote buying “had no basis”.
