Trump’s speech: “The long and painful nightmare is over”
US Donald Trump told the Israeli parliament on Monday that the Gaza ceasefire deal he helped broker marked a “historic dawn of a new Middle East”. Trump arrived in Israel as Hamas liberated all 20 living Israeli hostages and several Palestinian prisoners were released from Israeli jails under the first phase of the truce plan.
