Trump ‘insisted’ that US talks with Iran will continue as Netanyahu pushes for their expansion

US President Donald Trump on Wednesday said he had “insisted” in a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Washington’s resumed talks with Iran over its nuclear programme will continue, but that no “definitive” agreement had been reached. Netanyahu wants to expand the negotiations to include Tehran’s ballistic missile programme.
