BELLE AND SEBASTIAN TOUR OPENERS
The North American leg of Belle and Sebastian’s upcoming 30th Anniversary Tour for Tigermilk and If You’re Feeling Sinister starts May 12 in Mexico City and they’ve announced openers which very by city. At NYC’s Rooftop at Pier 17, The Ladybug Transistor open the Tigermilk show (5/22) and Joanna Sternberg opens the If You’re Feeling Sinister show (May 23). Elsewhere openers include Jonathan Richman (Big Sur), The Pains of Being Pure at Heart (Boston), US Girls (Toronto, Chicago), Voxtrot (Austin), Quasi (Seattle), and more.

TOMAHAWK
Tomahawk, the supergroup of Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle), Duane Denison (The Jesus Lizard), John Stanier (Helmet, Battles), and Trevor Dunn (Mr. Bungle), have just announced their first shows in 13 years! The tour celebrates the band’s 25th anniversary, and they’ll be joined for the trek by their old friends the Melvins.
COURTNEY BARNETT
Courtney Barnett has expanded her spring tour, adding shows in Richmond, Seattle and Portland. The NYC show is May 9 at Kings Theatre with Momma and Truman Sinclair.
MAX RICHTER
Max Richter, who is up for his first Oscar with his score for Hamnet, has announced a North American tour that will happen in June, where he will perform In A Landscape and The Blue Notebooks.
RUSH
Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson (and drummer Anika Nilles) have announced UK/EU dates for their 2027 Fifty Something tour.

TY SEGALL
Ty Segall begins his North American tour in April and has added a couple solo acoustic shows in California in Venice and Mariposa, both in May. The tour hits the NYC area on April 29 at Basilica Hudson.
DEATH ANGEL
Death Angel will perform their 1990 album Act III on tour this spring and summer. Vio-Lence and Incite will be along for the ride and the NYC stop is Gramercy Theatre on May 20.

EXEK (DATES WITH LCD SOUNDSYSTEM + NYC HEADLINE SHOW)
Australian group EXEK release their DFA Records debut, Prove the Mountains Wrong this week and they’ve announced a few US shows. They’ll open LCD Soundsystem’s Boston run this spring and will then head to NYC to play TV Eye on May 6.
DROPKICK MURPHYS
Dropkick Murphys will perform a free, acoustic memorial concert in Minneapolis on March 6, 2026, “honoring the lives of Alex Pretti and Renée Good, as well as the entire Twin Cities community.” From PR: “The concert will start at 1pm. The event will take place near the site where Alex Pretti was murdered — a location that has become a focal point of community remembrance and solidarity. Many local artists, activists and musicians will also contribute to an afternoon of tribute and remembrance. Local organizations involved include: Neighbors Helping Neighbors, Show Up for Eat Street, Immigrant Law Center and South Minneapolis Families Fund.”
LOUDER THAN LIFE 2026
Louder than Life has announced its 2026 lineup which includes Iron Maiden, My Chemical Romance, Tool, Danzig, Circa Survive (first show in five years), Megadeth, and more.
ELSEWHERE 2026 ROOFTOP SHOWS
NYC is currently buried in over a foot of new snow, but we are thinking about warmer days ahead. On that note Brooklyn’s Elsewhere just announced the initial Rooftop lineup which includes Mietze Conte w/ CFCF, Ross from Friends (DJ), Yung Bae, Cosmo’s Midnight, Pearly Drops, Nuovo Testamento, and more.
