Thrice announce tour with Modern Color & Downward, say “big things coming”

Thrice haven’t released a new album since 2021’s Horizons / East, and in the time since then they celebrated some old albums–The Artist In The Ambulance got a 20th anniversary tour and re-recorded album, while The Illusion of Safety got an expanded reissue and a full performance at Furnace Fest–and made time for singer Dustin Kensrue to release a country solo album. Now, they announced a fall tour and they say, “Big things are coming. This is the first of many.”

Support on the tour comes from two great newer shoegazy rock bands, Modern Color and Downward. It kicks off on October 17 in San Diego, and there’s a NYC show on November 1 at Irving Plaza. Presale tickets are on sale now. All dates are listed below.
