The Cure have announced their first concert since releasing Songs From a Lost World last year. They’ll be headlining France’s Rock En Seine festival on August 30, 2026.
That’s the only artist on the Rock en Seine lineup that’s been announced so far, but tickets go on sale Wednesday, September 17 at 4 PM CEST (10 AM Eastern).
In 2024, The Cure’s Robert Smith said that The Cure would begin touring Songs from a Lost World in the fall of 2025 (if that’s still happening it hasn’t been announced yet) and would stay busy through 2028, which will be the 50th anniversary of the band. He also said that The Cure’s next album was “virtually finished” and hoped that would be out sooner than later. Maybe we’ll get it before the band play Rock en Seine. One can hope.
The Cure played a few London shows surrounding the release of Songs of A Lost World in November 2024, which were their first since wrapping up the Shows of a Lost World tour in December 2023.
