NYC emo/post-hardcore vets Texas Is The Reason are reuniting for the first time in nearly a decade to play a few festivals this year, and they’ve now announced a headlining tour as well. Shows happen in September and October, with a few dates each on the East and West Coasts, plus a couple in the Midwest. “You’ve all kept this music alive for 30 years, and we’re back for a run of shows this Fall to mark the occasion,” they write. “Come out and sing along with us.”
There’s no NYC show, but the tour includes Garwood, NJ shows on September 13 and 14 at Crossroads. Tickets go on sale Friday.
Guitarist Norman Brannon won’t be a part of Texas is the Reason’s reunion, and they’re also playing Best Friends Forever, Furnace Fest, and Riot Fest. See all dates below.
