SCO Summit: Putin, Modi join Xi in Tianjin amid Trump tariff war

China’s Xi Jinping welcomed on Sunday Russia’s Vladimir Putin, India’s Narendra Modi and leaders from around 20 countries to the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit in Tianjin, a high-security gathering aimed at boosting Beijing’s influence and promoting “a multipolar world order”.
