Savannah Chrisley is mourning Charlie Kirk.
On Wednesday, an unknown shooter killed the right-wing influencer in Utah.
Unlike most of his fans and most of his critics, the The Chrisleys: Back To Reality star actually knew the man.
Savannah is still processing the news. And she’s revealing that she’d planned to join his current tour.

Savannah Chrisley is mourning Charlie Kirk
On Wednesday, September 10, Savannah Chrisley took to TikTok to share a tearful video.
The reality star called Charlie Kirk a “lifelong friend” who had been there for her in the “hardest” years of her life.
“[He was] someone who gave me a voice as a woman,” Savannah expressed. She added that he “made me feel like I had the power to show up in this world.”
@savannahchrisley I am numb. I can’t believe I’m even writing these words. Charlie Kirk changed my life…he brought me into the Turning Point family this past year, and I was supposed to be standing next to him at every college this October. Instead, I sit here with a broken heart, devastated beyond words. Charlie wasn’t just a leader or a voice for the youth…he was a believer in Christ. His faith anchored everything he did. And I know with certainty that while we’ve lost him here, he is now fighting for us all in heaven, standing boldly before the Lord, just as he did here on earth. He believed in me and in my family when the world turned its back. He saw potential, he spoke life into us, and he reminded me that God still had a plan even when I couldn’t see it myself. That kind of belief changes you forever. Take politics out of it…Charlie was a young man, a husband, and a father. He had so much life left to live. My heart aches for Erika and their children. No words will ever be enough to fill the space his love once held. Charlie…you changed America. You changed me. You changed my family. Rest easy, my friend. Heaven has gained a warrior ❤️
Savannah went on to admit that she did not “have the words” and was “still processing” his unexpected passing.
She went on to share that she was “supposed to be sitting next to Charlie every weekend in October.”
Kirk had been on a college speaking tour.
In fact, that’s what he was doing on Wednesday — debating gun violence at Utah Valley University.

She’s thinking of his widow and young children
Charlie Kirk was, by his own choice, extremely divisive and controversial.
However, he leaves behind a 3-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old son.
They are in Savannah Chrisley’s thoughts at this time.
She expressed to Kirk’s widow: “I love you. And I am with you.”

“[Kirk] believed in me and in my family when the world turned its back,” Savannah stated.
“He saw potential, he spoke life into us,” she continued, “and he reminded me that God still had a plan even when I couldn’t see it myself.”
Savannah then opined: “That kind of belief changes you forever.”

She’s ‘sitting here with a broken heart’
Now, Savannah Chrisley is “sitting here with a broken heart” instead of gearing up to join Charlie Kirk while touring college campuses.
In the meantime, whenever someone feels that a tragedy has truck, it is often wise to look for silver linings.
No innocent bystanders were struck in Kirk’s death on Wednesday.
We’re sure that some — even those who were there to righteously push back against his bigoted rhetoric — now carry trauma from witnessing the shooting, but we’re glad that they’re still alive.
