Russia rejects allegation it sent drone towards French aircraft carrier

The Kremlin on Friday dismissed claims that an intercepted drone in Swedish waters was Russian, calling the suggestion “absurd” even as Stockholm pointed to a “strong link” to Moscow. Sweden’s military observed the suspected drone on Wednesday near where a French nuclear-powered aircraft carrier was docked in the port of Malmo, officials said.
