Rodrygo ruled out of 2026 World Cup with Ancelotti’s Brazil: Real Madrid star suffers season-ending injury
Carlo Ancelotti will not have Rodrygo Goes available for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, as the Real Madrid player suffered a serious injury.
Brazil and Real Madrid received terrible news on Tuesday, as Rodrygo Goes reportedly suffered a severe knee injury that will rule him out for the rest of the club season and prevent him from playing in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
“The Brazilian star underwent medical tests in the morning to determine the exact extent of a knee injury that occurred against Getafe,” reported Marca. “Rodrygo Goes has an affected anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and says goodbye to the season… and the World Cup.”
