Pug Fest is quickly becoming one of the most consistently reliable DIY emo fests in the US, and the initial lineup for its just-announced fourth edition is looking as stacked as we’ve come to expect. It goes down from June 19-20 in Ferndale & Pontiac, MI with Friday night sets at Orchid Theatre and all-day Saturday sets at The Crofoot, and so far the lineup includes two emo revival OGs who have been recently making comebacks, Algernon Cadwallader and Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate), plus Keith Latinen from Empire! Empire!’s two newer bands, Parting and Mt. Oriander.
On top of those, the lineup’s got Heart Attack Man, Kerosene Heights, Home Star (mem Marietta), Computer, Thoughts On Bowling, Equipment, Stars Hollow, Arcadia Grey, Oolong, FinalBossFight!, Wounded Touch, It Happened One Night, and more, plus still more TBA.
There’s also a pre-show and “more surprises to come,” so stay tuned. Tickets are on sale now.
