Pool Kids share “Leona Street” from new LP

Pool Kidshighly anticipated third album Easier Said Than Done arrives next month via Epitaph, and they’ve given us another preview with “Leona Street,” a riffy indie rock track. “This was a person who really knew me, and was familiar with my futile cycles of trying to get better,” vocalist Christine Goodwyne says. “I was thinking about how they would laugh if they saw me outside on a run, once again going through the motions of trying to get it together. It forced me to confront that I am still the flawed person this old friend would remember, the kind of person that let the friendship die in the first place.”

Goodwyne co-directed and edited the video with Zach Miller, and you can watch it below.

Pool Kids will be on tour this fall with support from Truth Club and Pony, including stops at Asbury Park’s House of Independents on September 21 and NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on September 23. See all dates below.

Easier Said Than Done is out on August 15, and you can pre-order it on vinyl in the BV shop.
