Manchester United have confirmed that goalkeeper Andre Onana has completed a loan move to Turkish side Trabzonspor.
As the summer transfer window entered its final weeks, speculation over Onana’s future grew, fuelled by his disastrous display in the humiliating EFL Cup loss to Grimsby Town.
United’s signing of Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp on deadline day was further proof that Onana’s future was no longer at Old Trafford.
Trabzonspor made a proposal, and United and the player both agreed.
Now, the move has been made official and Onana has even been pictured with the side’s shirt.
Trabzonspor confirm Andre Onana has joined on a season-long loan. Full wage coverage. Onana will earn significantly more than at #MUFC due to a sign-on fee and bonuses.
