Pavement announce new Best-Of comp ‘Heckler’s Choice,’ share “Grounded (Live at Fonda Theatre)” video

Pavement have announced a new Best Of compilation titled Heckler’s Choice which is out now digitally and will be out on LP/CD on November 14 via Matador. Unlike the relatively sprawling 2010 double album retrospective Quarantine the Past, this is a tight, 12-song collection of their biggest songs, all freshly remastered, including “Stereo,” “Cut Your Hair,” “Summer Babe,” “Range Life,” and their b-side-turned-hit “Harness Your Hopes.” Check out the artwork and tracklist below.

Meanwhile, Pavement have also announced the physical release of the soundtrack to the PAVEMENTS movie, which is a mix of live recordings, rehearsal sessions and clips from the film. That is also out November 14 via Matador. With that announcement they’ve shared video of Pavement performing “Grounded” live at LA’s Fonda Theatre in 2022, which is on the soundtrack.
