Palestinian prisoners return free to Ramallah as part of ceasefire deal

As part of the ceasefire deal Israel agreed to release more than 1,900 Palestinian prisoners. The green light came only after Israel confirmed that Hamas had freed all of the 20 remaining living and dead hostages. However, the list does not include the around half a dozen highest profile prisoners – including Marwan Barhghouti, who’s seen as the Palestinian Nelson Mandela and is widely viewed as a possible future president of Palestine.
