OSEES announce new album: hear “Flight Simulator”

OSEES will release a new album, Abomination Revealed at Last, on August 8 via frontman John Dwyer’s Deathgod Records (fka Castle Face). “Well this album just channelled out of the mist of atrocities swirling around the planet right now,” Dwyer says. “AI empathy, genocides, social media data collection & addiction, the alignment of tech billionaires with the fascist overlords and their armada of dogs, civilians being kidnapped by bootlicking thugs, the death of due process…the list goes on and on. It’s been a long year already.”

After a few albums experimenting with synths, Abomination sounds more like a classic OSEES album, and there are clearly parallels to 2015 Mutilator Defeated at Last. which made our list of Oh Sees’ Best Albums. You can definitely feel it on the album’s ripping first single “Flight Simulator,” which premieres in this post. Listen below.

OSEES are on tour this year and will play Brooklyn’s Warsaw on October 25 & 26 with DMBQ. All dates are below.
