Nation of Language announce Brooklyn Paramount show with The Pains of Being Pure at Heart and Anika

Nation of Language have announced a special Brooklyn show and London residency, both happening in late summer. They write: “Last year we did a 3-night residency in NYC to celebrate our new album and shortly thereafter played our biggest headline show to date in London. In 2026, we’re running it again… backwards”

We’re not sure if that means there’s a new Nation of Language album coming out at the end of summer, but they do mean that this year the three-show London residency happens first at Village Underground on August 18-20 with TBA openers. Then they’ll play NYC’s Brooklyn Paramount on September 19 with a great undercard of shoegazy indiepop vets The Pains of Being Pure at Heart and German artist Anika.

Tickets for the NYC and London shows go on sale Friday, February 27 at 10 AM local time.

Before those shows, Nation of Language will be on the festival circuit, including appearances at Primavera Sound Porto and the Netherlands’ Best Kept Secret, as well as US dates supporting Death Cab for Cutie. All dates are listed below.
