Icelandic band múm have announced History of Silence, their first album in 12 years, which will be out September 19 via Morr Music. It’s their seventh album and was recorded over two years in Guagnano, Italy with additional work in Reykjavík, Berlin, Athens, Helsinki, New York, and Prague.
The first single from the album is “Mild at Heart,” a delicate piano-and-strings driven number, and you can watch the video below.
múm will be on tour in North America this fall, including a Brooklyn record release show at Pioneer Works on September 19. All dates are below.
