Military-run Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger pull out of key international court

It comes as no surprise that Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso announced on Monday their decision to withdraw from the International Criminal Court. These military-led governments describe the court as a tool of neo-colonial repression. However, the withdrawal will not take effect for at least one year.
