Madagascar plunges into uncertainty after President flees the country

Amidst mass protests in Madagascar, President Rajoelina signed a decree dissolving Parliament, before fleeing the country. It is now up to the courts to decide whether this dissolution is legal: if that’s the case, MPs could call an extraordinary session to impeach the absent leader.
