Knocked Loose team with Denzel Curry for new song & video, “Hive Mind”

Knocked Loose said this past fall that they were “writing,” and today we get to hear their first new song since 2024’s game-changing You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To, “Hive Mind.” And it’s not just any new song; it’s a collaboration with rapper Denzel Curry, who’s crossed paths with the rock world a few times, including when he collaborated with Fucked Up and Bad Brains and when he covered Rage Against the Machine.

“This is something we’ve talked about doing for a long time,” says vocalist Bryan Garris. “We wondered if we could pull it off and who would be down. In the very beginning, we said for it to work, it would have to be Denzel Curry. Because he gets it.”

“Hive Mind” is a fast-paced rager that sounds like classic Knocked Loose until Denzel comes in and takes the song to places that Knocked Loose have never gone before. It’s definitely not your typical rap rock song, and it’s very worth hearing. Check out the song and its video (directed by Eric Richter and Bryan Garris) below.

Knocked Loose also have some shows and festival appearances coming up, including both editions of Sick New World and Primavera Sound, as well as some Europe shows with Metallica. All dates are listed below.
