Canadian nu/alt metal vets Kittie have announced the Legacy Of Fire Tour, celebrating 30 years of the band, which they’re calling their first full headline tour in a decade. (They did play a few North American dates in 2024, too.) “Thirty years ago, we ignited a spark,” Kittie say. “Three decades later, that fire is still burning, stronger and more focused than ever. Legacy of Fire is a celebration of every stage, every struggle, and every fan who carried us forward. Coming back to the US + Canada for our first full headline tour over a decade feels incredible. We’re ready to honor our history while ushering in the next chapter!”
The tour kicks off June 6 in St Louis and includes stops in Denver, SLC, Anaheim, Phoenix, San Antonio, Houston, Nashville, Atlanta, Charlotte, Baltimore, NYC, Worcester, and Toronto, with support from Kingdom Of Giants and Gore.
The NYC show is at Irving Plaza on June 23 and tickets for all dates go on sale Friday, March 6 at 10 AM local time.
Kittie’s 2000 album Spit made our list of 10 Nu Metal Albums That Even Nu Metal Skeptics Need To Know and you can watch BV’s Andrew Sacher talk about it below.
