King Charles, Pope Leo to hold first-ever joint prayer meeting of Church of England head and pontiff

On his visit to the Vatican, Britain’s King Charles III on Thursday is set to pray publicly with Pope Leo XIV, marking the first ever joint prayer meeting between the heads of the Church of England and the Roman Catholic Church since English monarch Henry VIII broke with Rome in 1534.
