Iran’s Khamenei calls for crackdown on ‘seditionists’ after brutally repressing protests

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei called for “domestic criminals” to face swift punishment, accusing “seditionists” of being responsible for the death of thousands of people during the recent protest wave. Rights groups have put the death toll of the government’s crackdown in the thousands.
