I Am The Avalanche announce new LP ‘The Horror Show,’ share 2 singles

I Am The Avalanche have announced their first LP in six years. The Horror Show, their fifth album, is due out on April 10 via Equal Vision Records, and it’s their first release for the label. See the cover art and tracklist below.

Bandleader Vinnie Caruana says that “about 75% of the lyrics” were written after his best friend passed away “suddenly and unexpectedly,” and you can feel both the grief and the urgency coming through loud and clear in the just-released title track. “Immeasurable loss is something all of us will endure, if we haven’t already,” Caruana adds. “Like when a grenade explodes in a war movie, all you hear is the ringing in your ears and see the world in front of you with a different tint.” Watch the video for the title track and “God’s Travel Plans,” directed by Jesse Korman and featuring Michael C.
