How much money will Inter Miami earn if they surpass PSG in the Club World Cup?

Inter Miami has advanced to the Round of 16 at the FIFA Club World Cup after finishing second in Group A behind Palmeiras. Now, the Herons face a massive challenge: a knockout match against Paris Saint-Germain, Lionel Messi’s former club and the reigning Champions League titleholder.

Inter Miami just made history by advancing from a tough group at the FIFA Club World Cup, finishing second behind Palmeiras—who topped the standings on goal difference—and ahead of Porto and Al Ahly, both of whom were eliminated. Now, the Herons face a massive challenge in the Round of 16: Paris Saint-Germain, Lionel Messi’s former team and reigning UEFA Champions League champions.

If Inter Miami pulls off the upset and knocks PSG out of the tournament, they will secure an additional $13.125 million. And the rewards don’t stop there—reaching the semifinals would bring their total earnings to $21 million, making the final would increase that to $30 million, and lifting the trophy would see them walk away with a grand total of $40 million in prize money.

How much Inter Miami has already secured

So far, Inter Miami has banked $21.05 million:

  • $9.55 million just for participating in the tournament,
  • $4 million from group-stage results ($2M for the win over Porto and $1M each for the draws against Palmeiras and Al Ahly),
  • $7.5 million for reaching the Round of 16.

Inter Miami vs. PSG: Date, time, and venue

By finishing second in Group A, Inter Miami is now set to face the Group B winner: Paris Saint-Germain. The match is scheduled for Sunday, June 29 at 12:00 PM ET at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta—the same venue where Messi lit up the pitch against Porto.
