Hotline TNT’s Will Anderson tells about bands from every city he’s lived in that have influenced him

Hotline TNT just released Raspberry Moon, which is their first album made as a band, as opposed to previous records that were recorded solely by Will Anderson. There’s more oomph this time, while the signature Hotline TNT sound — roaring, melodic, shoegazey rock — remains the same. You can listen to the album below.

To celebrate the new album, Will Anderson made us a list where he picked one artist from every city he’s lived in that has influenced him, starting with Chippewa Falls, WI (Phil Cook), and then Vancouver (Nu Sensae), Raleigh (Whatever Brains), Seattle (Naomi Punk) and Minneapolis (Cowboy Curtis). Raspberry Moon by Hotline TNT

Hotline TNT are currently in NYC where they’ll play a release day in-store at Rough Trade Below at 6 PM. Your ticket includes a copy of Raspberry Moon. They also play a sold-out rooftop show at The Ground on Saturday (6/21) with Toner and Starcleaner Reunion. The band’s tour officially starts July 19 in Allentown, PA and all dates are listed below.
