Hannah Lew (Grass Widow, Cold Beat) announces debut solo album, shares “Another Twilight”

Hannah Lew of Grass Widow and Cold Beat has announced her self-titled solo debut which will be out April 10 via Night School. She made the album with producer Maryam Qudus (Toro Y Moi, La Luz) and a few friends and fellow West Coast musicians, and it was mastered by Sarah Register.

The first single from the album is “Another Twilight,” which isn’t that far from the pretty, minimal wave-inspired pop she crafted in Cold Beat. “Another Twilight is a goodbye song,” says Hannah. “It’s about coming to terms with change and being OK with it. Kind of the turning point where lamenting over a break up turns into ownership of a current state, not dwelling on the past. It’s about moving on!”
