Haiti has been plunged into months of chaos, with rampant gang violence forcing thousands to flee. Tragically, many have lost their lives, and the instability has allowed gangs to increasingly recruit children—UNICEF reports an alarming rise of over 200%. Antoine Ghazalay, Child Protection Specialist at UNICEF Haiti, joined FRANCE 24 to explain the situation and how this disturbing trend has become possible.
