Ghislaine Maxwell to face US Congress as fallout from Epstein files continues

Jeffrey Epstein’s accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, currently serving 20 years in prison for trafficking girls to the disgraced financier, will be questioned behind closed doors by the US Congress on Monday, though she’s expected to invoke her right to not answer questions. It comes as the fallout from the publication of the latest release of the Epstein files continues, with veteran French politician Jack Lang, a former minister, the latest high-profile figure to fall under the spotlight.
