General Hospital: Disgraced Willow & Chase Flee Port Charles Together in Shocking Exit?

General Hospital reports that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) set to be exposed for her crimes pretty soon. And Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is about to be in a lot of hot water at the PCPD even sooner than that.

So, both Willow and Chase’s lives are about to blow up spectacularly, and they may be forced out soon. We’re going to talk about the fallout for Willow and Chase, and why they might end up leaving Port Charles together.

Harrison Chase Faces the PCPD Heat Over Michael Corinthos’ Keys on General Hospital

So, next week we’re going to pick back up with Commissioner Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and DA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) finding out what Chase did. Except the thing is they don’t exactly know what he did and they’re blaming the wrong guy. He didn’t do the exact right thing, but he didn’t do the really wrong thing.

He’s going to take the heat for it, though. And just by the way, this is picking up next week because Friday is the whole big Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) episode. Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) told Dante and the DA that he has an eyewitness who saw Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) keys in Chase’s hands.

Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos Spills the Truth About Willow Tait’s Frame-Up Plan on GH

I knew Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Viron Weaver) was going to spill the beans. You can always count on GH kids to rat out guilty adults. You guys know that Chase swiped Michael Corinthos’s keys just to check and see if one fit the door of Drew Cain Quartermaine‘s (Cameron Mathison) house. Of course it did because Willow planted the copy of her and Drew’s house key onto Michael Corinthos’s keyring.

It’s the key, by the way, that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) copied from Scout Cain’s (Cosette Abinante) key. So, she might recognize it. If you remember, Tracy handed it over to Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) when she let herself into Drew’s house and then Willow got it from him. So, that was when Tracy came to steal back the Quartermaine heirlooms.

But, this is all part of Willow’s plan to frame Michael Corinthos for Drew’s shooting. So, it’s kind of ironic that Willow’s kid, Wiley, blabbed the truth and just caused a big wrinkle in his mom’s plan. Michael was shocked to hear Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) say they found Drew’s house key on Michael’s key ring.

Thankfully, Ric Lansing was there and he shut it down fast. And also, thankfully, Wiley told Ric that his uncle Chase had his dad Michael’s keys. So, Ric dropped off the kids to Willow and headed over to save Michael from walking into a trap.

Dante Falconeri and Michael Corinthos Confront Harrison Chase’s Betrayal

So, I’m guessing Ric, Michael, Dante, and DA Turner are all going to blame Chase. Turner already chewed Chase a new one for testifying at Willow’s trial that he thinks the PCPD screwed up. That’s why Dante busted him down to beat cop.

And they know Chase was running his own little side investigation into Drew’s shooting while Willow was on trial. To make things worse, Dante Falconeri recently asked Chase if he could count on him to stay out of Michael’s investigation and follow orders. And Chase lied right to Dante’s face.

He also told Michael he should be in jail for this. Now, in defense of Chase, he did not plant the key on Michael’s key ring. He was just auditing what keys were there. But I’m guessing Ric and Dante and Michael and DA Justine Turner are all going to assume that it was Chase that planted the key on Michael Corinthos’s key ring.

Chase is also the reason that Nathan went to look at Michael’s keys. If you remember, Nathan offered up the info that it was Chase who prompted him to check Michael’s key ring for a key to see if he had a way to access Drew’s house. That’s another reason that Dante and the others will assume that Chase himself planted the key.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine Slams the Brakes on Adoption and Marriage on General Hospital

This all comes back to bite Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) husband next week. And I honestly expect Chase to be fired on the spot. And Dante is going to be furious both as the police commissioner and as Chase’s friend at what he sees is a major betrayal.

The timing is so bad for this because Brook Lynn just told Chase they can start the adoption process. So, right away they called Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) over to talk to her about helping them start their family. I also expect that BLQ is going to slam the brakes on that and tell Chase she can’t do it.

They cannot start a family. Not while he is still fixated on Willow and obsessed with taking down Michael Corinthos, who Brook Lynn 100% thinks is innocent – and he is. Chase has been pushing Brook Lynn too far with this complete and utter and ridiculous devotion to Willow. And this might be the final straw for BLQ, especially because Michael is her family.

General Hospital Casting Rumors: Is Josh Swickard Leaving GH?

So, we shared a leak from our trusted source a while back that said Josh Swickard was going to be leaving General Hospital. Now, this is not confirmed. This is a leak or rumor, not a spoiler, but watching what’s going on with Chase right now, it makes sense that he might leave Port Charles in disgrace.

I expect he’s going to lose his job, lose his bestie Dante, and Brook Lynn might even demand a separation over this stunt, possibly even a divorce. And you know, Chase is going to try and explain he didn’t plant the key, but he did break the chain of evidence and violated a bunch of things by taking Michael keys over to see if there was a fit. But it’s also suspicious.

I don’t think anybody is going to give Harrison Chase the benefit of the doubt except Willow Tait. Of course, she will give him all kinds of sympathy while she’s also frustrated that her plan didn’t work. Also, and just by the way, Josh Swickard and his wife, Lauren Swickard, are expecting baby number three.

Their new addition is due any day now. So maybe Josh Swickard wants to take a break and spend time with his family on their farm and step away from GH. Because even if he does leave as Chase, that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t return at some point if it pans out that way.

General Hospital: Drew Cain Quartermaine’s Rescue Leads to Willow Tait’s Downfall in Port Charles

As for Katelyn MacMullen, I’ve not heard anything about her leaving GH, but Willow’s fate seems equally dubious right now. I think Drew Cain is going to get a visitor who knows Morse code, and he’s going to blink his way to a rescue that exposes his wicked wife, Willow.

Drew tried and failed to communicate with Alexis, but I think he’ll try with somebody else. And GH may be looking to expose Willow as the congressional thing picks up steam. If she’s going to try and take Drew’s seat in Congress, that might be when and how Willow’s exposed, during a press conference or a debate or something, so it’s public and messy.

Alexis is interested in the seat, so it may be a “who’s going to get it” kind of deal. There was a recent interview where the actress was talking about that when Willow is found out and she’s exposed, it is the very worst moment of her life. I fully suspect Michael could take the kids and try to keep Willow from ever seeing them again.

Unless it’s visitation through plexiglass at Pentonville. They can’t prosecute her for shooting Drew; that would be double jeopardy. But drugging him into paralysis, that’s definitely something. And they might even be able to stretch it to attempted murder.

But there might be a deal cut where she leaves town to avoid charges. Some kind of deal she cuts with Drew. Maybe that would be better than prison. I’m sure from Willow’s perspective. I don’t see how in the fallout she’ll keep access to her kids.

Will Harrison Chase and Willow Tait Leave General Hospital Together?

And since Willow and Chase are both about to be named and shamed, things look dire for both of them. What’s crazy is what happens to him is totally Willow’s fault because Chase is just under her spell or something.

So much so that Willow may insist to Chase that she’s innocent of these accusations, too. And he might be the one person in Port Charles who actually believes Willow. We’ve all seen Chase is absolutely blind when it comes to Willow. And honestly, I think he’ll believe anything she tells him.

So, when both Chase and Willow’s lives come crashing down around them, will they leave town together in an epic walk of shame? I think it would be a really interesting twist. We’ll see how it goes.
