French President Macron urges clam after fatal beating

In France, President Emmanuel Macron has called for calm and restraint following the fatal beating of a 23-year-old man aligned with the far right. The victim, identified only as Quentin, was hospitalized in Lyon on Thursday after clashes between far-right and far-left youths on the margins of a conference held by a hard-left lawmaker, and authorities have opened an investigation into suspected aggravated manslaughter.
