French baker brings bread and comfort to war-hit Ukraine

Since the Russian invasion began in 2022, French baker Loïc Nervi – originally from the Var region – has repeatedly driven through war-torn Ukraine to bring fresh bread to civilians in hard-hit areas, turning an old truck into a mobile bakery to bake and distribute loaves to communities struggling amid the conflict.
