For Gaza plan to work, it needs Trump’s ‘continued commitment’, former diplomat says

US President Donald Trump hailed a “tremendous day for the Middle East” as he and regional leaders signed a declaration Monday meant to cement a ceasefire in Gaza, hours after Israel and Hamas exchanged hostages and prisoners. Speaking with FRANCE 24’s Mark Owen, Alon Pinkas, former Israeli diplomat and political advisor to Shimon Peres and Ehud Barak, says that for the peace plan for Gaza to work it needs ‘Trump’s continued commitment’.
