Fishbone announce ‘In Your Face’ 40th anniversary tour & reissue

Fishbone are celebrating the 40th anniversary of their classic debut album In Your Face this year, and they’ll perform it in full (along with a second set of favorites) on a spring tour. Shows begin on April 9 in San Francisco and wrap up on May 9 in Pomona. See all dates below.

There’s an NYC show at Brooklyn Bowl on April 25, and a Garwood, NJ show a couple nights earlier at Crossroads on April 23. Tickets to all dates go on sale Friday, January 16 at 12 PM local, with various presales starting today (1/15) at 1 PM local.

There’s also a new remastered reissue of In Your Face on the way, with a second disc of Fishbone songs re-recorded by different artists to be announced. It’s available for pre-order now.

Members of Fishbone were involved in public disputes regarding lineup changes and the rights to the band’s name in 2024, and the current lineup features Angelo Moore (vocals, saxophones), Christopher Dowd (keyboards, trombone, vocals), James Jones (bass), Hassan Hurd (drums), John “JS” Williams II (trumpet, vocals), and Tracey “Spacey T” Singleton (guitar). That lineup is also working on a new album, currently expected in early summer, and following last year’s Stockholm Syndrome. Stay tuned.
