Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova also denounced new US energy sanctions as “counterproductive” for peace efforts in Ukraine, adding that Russia’s goals in the conflict remain unchanged. France24 correspondent Dave Keating reports the latest from the European Parliament in Brussels.
