EU electric carmakers push Brussels to uphold 2035 zero-emission goal

Over 150 executives from Europe’s electric car sector, including Volvo Cars and Polestar, urged the EU on Monday to uphold its 2035 zero-emission target for cars and vans. They warned any delay would stall Europe’s EV market, strengthen rivals abroad, and undermine investor confidence.
