EU accuses Russia of ‘gambling with war’ after airspace violations

Kaja Kallas, the European Union’s top diplomat, on Monday called on Europe to turn its economic power into military deterrence during a visit to Kyiv as Ukraine faces renewed Russian attacks on energy infrastructure ahead of winter. The EU accused Russia of “gambling with war” for repeatedly violating its airspace with drones and military jets, with officials warning that such actions risk escalating the conflict.
