Baltimore hardcore band End It have long been staples of the hardcore scene thanks to a string of great EPs and a great live show, and now they’ve finally announced their debut album. Titled Wrong Side Of Heaven, it was made with veteran producer and Battery/Be Well vocalist Brian McTernan (Converge, Cave In, Hot Water Music, Turnstile, etc) and it comes out on August 29 via Flatspot. The band says the album is centered on “spreading awareness of the change that’s coming to Americans, personal growth, and maintaining the ethics and integrity of hardcore.”
The first single is “Pale Horse,” a 72-second, fast-paced hardcore ripper that finds just enough time for a groove metal breakdown and a sprinkle of clean vocals. It comes with a Noah Haycock-directed video that depicts childhood versions of the members of End It graffitiing a shed and then performing on a backyard halfpipe. Check it out below.
